Anyone play on EA Korea servers??  I am stationed in S. Korea and starting yesterday I havn't seen any of the servers up and am pissed cuz I cant play at all .  The closest servers are in Japan and my ping is like 150 there and that's too much for me to enjoy.  I guess it's a good thing I'm coming back to the states in 2 weeks. 

Does anyone live in Columbus area in Georgia?  That's where I'll be and I want to know if there's gonna be any servers nearby so my ping is low.

Not for BF 2 apparently.  Even though the servers here were constantly full and I had to click on them for 5+ mins on average to get a open spot in most of them, hah.  Esp. on the only 64 player server here.

Yeah, they're still really into Starcraft here.  I mean REALLY into it.  You tell a Korean you like Starcraft and you're their buddy for life, heh.

Anyone that plays Starcraft still needs to get a life. Yeah, it was a good game like 10 years ago, but really how much can you play that game? Its the same strategies over and over and over just to see who can build their army the quickest and attack you while you're stil buidling your first barracks.

mmos... are gay... starcraft is a really good RTS imo. i think EA stopped supporting sout korean servers just like they did w/ taiwan servers after 1.2 came out, no more taiwan servers

the hero servers are operated by the chinese government... since china doesnt want ppl to talk smack about the government in a bf2 server, so there are no EA official china servers... and all those commie bastards join eatw...

yeah thats what happened... hinet stopped support for the servers coz they say ea sucks their balls... we used to have 6 32man servers and 2 40man urban maps (16 player maps!) server. lots of fun of the 40man one. now we get only 2 32man server and 2 64 man...

Yeah, I have like 2 or 3 Taiwan servers in my favorites list.  They come up with a ping of about 100-150 which is still a tad slow for my liking.  I think I have the 2 64 player servers in there and they are usually like half-filled.  I might jump on there to command, but not to ground-pound that much.

Yeah it sucks....I'm also stationed in Korea. I miss the old 64player SF server, was ALWAYS full. Hard to play...as most servers I get auto kicked for a 180 ping. I remeber back in the days of Quake 1....180 ping was good. Not many people had <100 ping.

EA BRING BACK OUR SERVERS TO KOREA!!!!
