Looks to me that the only way to get the WCR is to try for it first over any award when all the stats are baselined at zero. Become commander from your first game on servers where players do not care to be commander and keep that win loss record at a manageable level. Get the hours, as commander, leave a server or switch sides if your side is about to lose. Cheap shot at getting it but once you have 100, 500, 1000 losses you have to triple that in the wins column.
I have 25hrs to go for War College, Win/Loss at around 5... I don't switch sides. Playing with a few clanmates helps build wins, but the key to real victory is to lead a full squad of 6 around the map, giving orders all the time and doing alot of flag capping together. 64 player servers are hard to influence with just 1 squad. 16 player ones are a tad boring whereas 32 player servers do great. Am I the only one that doesn't like commanding? I'd rather be out in the field with my squad. The only times I've commanded are when my team didn't have a commander and we needed one badly.
i don't like it either, it was fun for a while, then got boring...i'm pretty damn good at it too, stay on top of everything and when you have squads that listen it's pretty easy to win...but then comes the boring part, i like shooting people
I've worked my W:L up from a 1.37 to 2.93 in a little under a month. Not too hard to do if you don't have a lot of losses to begin with. I reckon I'll have the ribbon by tommorow or the day after thanksgiving.
I gave up all hope of getting this ribbon a while ago.

Just one question where can you see how many wins & losses you've gained as a commander in your stats??

It's not just as a commander. It counts ALL of your wins and losses, and those can be found in the middle of the stats page almost directly in the middle.
