Here's how:
1. Go to start, then go to control panel and click on mouse.
2. Go to pointers.
3. On scheme, select none so you don't overwrite anything.
4. Click browse, click on "Look in" and select the hard drive you installed BF2 into.
5. Click on Program files, then click on EA GAMES, then click on Battlefield 2.
6. Click on mods, then click BF2. 6b. If you prefer a green SF BF2 sign, go into xpack instead.
7. Click on menu, then External, then FlashMenu, then cursor.
8. In the mouse properties window, click on whichever cursor you would like to replace with a BF2 cursor, then in Cursor in the file directory you are in from #7, click on the cursor you would like to replace the current one with, then click open.
Here's a chart(If that's what you wanna call it):
Click on normal select, then click on cursor_arrow in the browse window, then click open and it applies it to your current cursor.
Click on Working In Background, then click on cursor_wait, then click open and now that is what it will look like instead of an arrow next to an hour glass.
Click on Busy, then click on cursor_busy, then click open and now that is what it will look like instead of an hour glass.
Click on Text Select, then click on cursor_text, then click open and that is what it will look like whenever you're cursor is over text.
9. Click apply.
10. Enjoy your new BF2 cursor(s) for your normal non-BF2 computing.
Another thing, if you want to make it easier you can just paste all of the BF2 cursors to your default cursor registry by going to "My computer" then type C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\menu\External\FlashMenu\Cursor then use your cursor to highlight all of them, now in your mouse properties window, click browse, then go to the empty spaces of that file and paste all of the BF2 cursors there so it is easier next time in case you want to change some things.
Note: The BF2 text cursor doesn't quite center itself correctly, just a heads up if you want precision.
