Hey folks

I was just wondering. I know there are many snipers on this forum and i was wondering about how many of you can use a sniper in closecombat or how many thinks its a cool thing...

I love closecombat with a sniper rifle and people hates me for it but my own opinion is that laying on a roof top just ain't fun after an hour ^^

I am not talking about attacking like a medic but more like fighting on the ground... running around shooting.. having fun with an svd...

The video ain't for showing off.. its an old video from June and what i am trying to ask you guys about is if anyone of you are using snipers in close combat... and to show what i meant i found an old video... got a problem with that?

Nice man, i'm a CQC sniper.. come and take a look at the community here You're vid was pretty nice, there was a couple of good shots in there especially the running HS need to get your line up time a bit quicker til i'll regard you as good

Yeah its the only way i play when I'm a sniper just hit them a few times with the rifle and then finish them with your pistole (pistole rocks people underestimate it to much:D) on a good day i can sometimes take out an entire squad at close range

yeh.....ok......we needed a visual representation of what CQC sniping looks like.....hmm you would think we were able to grasp the concept of "sniping,in close quarters" but then again we dont all have your level of intelligence.

what do you mean about lineup time?

How quickly from when you spot the person you're zoomed in at his head.... Also, a couple of your shots were - no offence - down to the other person being crap, there was one where he was about a meter in and you could still zoom in and shoot him, that's just poor on his part.

I do a fair amount of CQC SVD combat. As long as they keep moving, full-auto bullet spread is so high that it's easy to take out most Assault/Support enemies in CQC. I only worry about the shotgun and G36E wielders.

Okay, watched the vid now. Yep, that's pretty much how I play, although I wouldn't use the SVD given a choice.

You know Entrance in Sharqi? Last game I played just now I was on one side of the road, another guy was on the other side of the E-W road, so what's that? 3m? He proned firing at me, I managed to zoom, hit him in the head (without killing him, grrrrr), get up, strafe and peg him a second time. Now that's poor Bad luck on his part, he must have been fuming. 95 times out of 100 I'd have been toast.

Hey how'd you go about recording that video? As of now, I only know of two ways. 1) Battlerecroder, but you need to be the host. 2) Fraps, which kills your FPS.

Shouldnt you have a higher accuracy before you make determinations on who is and isnt good?
