My friend recently got Bf2: Special Forces. He didn't know about re-patching 1.3, so he completely uninstalled the game and then he realized he couldn't install the game due to the CD key missing. I told him all he needs to do is just install Special Forces and re-patch and it should work. But now he tries to go into battlefield 2 but once it starts it crashes, he said something about an error with shaders. Can Someone please help me.
First make sure that he is re-patching with the full 1.3 patch and not the incremental, if that doesn't solve it then:
