Won't let me join squads

I don't know why, but BF2 has been uber gay.

It won't let me join a squad, I either have to create one, or be invited. Which blows!

Anyone else have this prob, and if so, how did you fix it?

You know what i meant doc!

You cant join a squad if you are dead, spawn in, find a spot to open the squad screen, and then join.
New for patch 1.3.

I know what you meant, but it still made me giggle.

Basically, what my learned colleague said though, the ability to join a squad while you are dead was removed in the patch to stop people from squad hopping to spawn in a more favourable position.

Let us know if you still have a problem and it's not this causing the issue.

kinda off subject but im gonna vent anyways

you ever run into those assholes who form a squad and then lock it when they are the only person in it?
There doing basically the same thing as being a lone wolf, but they take up a squad slot which can be a big problem on 64 player maps when all squads are being used. Also aggravating is when they trek to an advantageous spot and you want to spawn on him to help capture a flag.

just a thought.

try joining them while ur alive. I saw u lost ur bf2 cd key and u probably missed the part in a patch where ea took away squad hopping

Ihave a kind of other problem sometimes when i join a squad i can´t leave it.
Iam stuck to it the hole round and i cant spawn on the squad leader either when thats happens.
Somebody else had that problem before????????
