This will not be until later in the year ie October time.
Up here in Ballycastle there are about a half dozen of us that play BF2 regularly (pretty much every night there will be 2 or 3 of us out a-killin)
Now one of this lot runs a 2 star, 10 room guesthouse on Rathlin Island, with a restaurant (think of fresh seafood still flapping on yer plate) and by the time the LAN goes ahead there will likely be a Bar too, even though the place is 2 mins walk from island pub. There is also an 8 meg line into the place too so we can all go online/allow others in to the game. Oh and there is WiFi (wireless) connection throughout the place too which can make things a lot less tangly.
We all play vanilla BF2, and most also have BF2SF - cant think why we'd play anything else
Anyhow its for the hardcore only hehehehe! Probably only 18 and over, and it will be from the friday night to the sunday night inclusive.
As to getting there, well you'll have to get yeese self up to Ballycastle, from there we can organise the speedboats to get us and our PCs there nice, safe, and dry. There is also the ferry.
This obviously will not be a free event, but will likely not be full price for the B&B, as its off season (also depends on yer man's GF ) Its a huge place, plenty power points, plenty tables and space galore. This is NOT to make money for them (non-profit), its a KILLING weekend MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

We'd like to know if there is any interest, if there is we will go ahead and start the organisation, and set a weekend for it.
