Well after playing BF2 for a while now and having two booster packs that are great I still feel like wanting more. And the one thing I want more then anything else is NEW MAPS!!! Personally im saddened that EA cant come up with more jungle maps, sahara desert maps or for the first time ever SNOW MAPS! Snow maps would be awesome haing China fight USA in northern china(or south russia) in a snow filled landscape with new white camo skins. Then add in weather affects like rain and a blizzerd. Those would be awesome.
That is one thing on the Xbox 360 version that I love is the snow maps.
midnight sun should have snow, download dalian plant 2, exact same map just with snow
midnight has some snow ( love the wolves ) but would be awesome to have a full map in the snow
I agree. I would like a snow map that utilizes the ATV from SF. Just ATVs, Infantry, and snow.....yuuuuummm.
Weather effects will never make its way into BF2, although it'd be nice to see. Maybe a sandstorm ala Medal of Honor in the Sahara setting you mention. Anything to add new angles to the fight.

About weather - how about muddy terrain? Slows everything down...

Blazing heat = Heat exhaustion = less stamina
Wind affects on sniping
I do like the "blue sky" affect on your aiming reticle when looking into the sky for realism...although I hate it when trying to 50 cal a chopper.

they have some ( very little ) weather effecs in AF OP Harvest - but I would also like to see rain or sandstorm, imagine being down on Road Rage during a hurricane or on midnight and they had a blizzard come in

imagine road rage with that hurrricane and they canceal all flights due to increment weather - talk about alot of pissed flyboys that won't get to use warthog
What if they knew the city the server was located in and have the map play like that? If it was raining in that city, it would rain in the game, if it was midnight in that city, it would be midnight in the game. It would take a lot more work but it would be pretty cool. I used to play on a server for Team Fortress Classic that had that, it was the coolest thing but it didn't really effect gameplay.
