Check out these screens comparing 2 real life photos with CryENGINE 2 ingame renders. Pretty goddamn amazing! At a glance, it's difficult to tell which is which.

Can't wait to see Crysis when it comes out (Jan 2007 I believe).

Actualy this could run it maxed out.(what Im getting minus vid card)
E6600 Core 2 Duo
Xfi Sound Card(not sure what one yet)
2GB of DDR2 RAM @667mhz
7900GT
750W power supply

BTW your computer could run Crysis maxed out probably. Might need a new vid card so its DX10 capable but I think you can also run the game in DX9.

Well 2142 should be out by fall. Crysis will be out next year, shouldnt really be a conflict. Also, if Far Cry was any indication I would not expext a great multi-player experience from Crysis. Gess we'll know for sure in six months.....

Wow instead of buying 2142 and the 6 shitty expansions EA & Dice will churn out in 4 months, I think I'll save up for a new mobo, a new power supply, and a 7900...

Everything I've seen about Crysis makes me warm and fuzzy inside. After growing up all the way from Nintendo to modern games, I can't imagine what stuff will look like in just 5 years...pretty amazing stuff.

This game is going to rock. You'll probably need a DX10 graphics card to run it at its maximum image quality, but DX9 cards like my 7800GTX should run it just fine at max settings.

but look very closely at the ear, you can see a sort of invisibleish (made up word ) line, kinda like the slapped the ear on with some glue. It doesnt blend as well as a human ear

Are you referring to 2142 or Crysis?

Crysis was originally slated for fall, but has been postponed to coincide with the release of Windows Vista which put it's release date somewhere in Jan. 07.
