IRL (yes, we all LOVE posts that start that way) both the type 95 & the Linebacker have onboard radar that looks for aircraft. In game, would it be logical for those vehicles to be able to see aircraft on the mini-map when manned? Note - they should not be able to broadcast that info to otehr players' HUDs - they just see the aircraft on their own mini-map.
err i dont think its a good idea

Ummm.... because I'm tired of having an entire armored column KO'd by a jet?
thats bullshit, aa vehicles are already WAAAAY 2 overpowered
you should be able to take jets out fine with the aa i think you need more practise to get to know the aa. its the jets job to take out tanks for infantry and others to so they can take more points. its a balance between vehicles that i think is fine.
Wow - you pilots are a touchy lot, aren't you?
I hate teh fukin AA
hel yeah man AA sux
Well, this went down hill fast.
Good idea. +1
Sober enough to know what I'm doing, drunk enough to really enjoy doing it
I think they should decrease the range of the AA's lock or something for it suck getting locked from the Hotel on Shark peninsula to the TV station and then form the second AA in the middle. and dont forget about the AA on Iron Gator that thing has #### log range. and it is always the same people that camp on the AA gun all Smacktards
Im a total AA whore, love the stuff. I cant fly for shit, so I enjoy blowing you fuckers out the sky
Some form of radar would be good, I agree, but if a commander has half a brain cell, he uses the sat and spots planes - which I rely on a lot. Other than that, I just have my turret facing upwards and do 360degree turret spins to check for planes fairly often. Helis are no problem. Jets are since as soon as you get a lock, they disappear. You complain of AA being so good, how often do you ever see planes being taken down by AA? Virtually never. So you are complaining of being taken down maybe a few times in 1 round.
Geez. You guys really do have your heads up your asses

aa vehicles shouldnt lock on to jets that are over 250 altitude
He is not talking about the stationary sites, just the mobile AA witch to me seems to have a shorter range. Most decent pilots don't have any problem destroying them. Just because you think you should be able to go every round with out dieing and killing 44 people. A couple of deaths each round is still very unbalanced. Pilots need to stop complaining and take what ever nerfing they give you. If the AA bugs you, you just need more practice.DoNER90 wrote:

LOL, coming from a flyboy. Since Aircraft have vehicle HUD "radar", AA vehicles should also have radar.e-i-u-benjamin wrote:

I think AA vehicles should instantly destroy any helicopters that comes within it's missile range.
I thought for the most part they already did.PRiMACORD wrote:
