I haven't played all the maps yet, but there's a ribbon called the Arial Service Specialist where the requirements listed are the same as the Arieal Service Ribbon for BF2, meaning airplane. That source could be wrong however.

Count me in as one of those who are rejoicing at the fact that there are no jets. The day that an Air Force pilot nose dives his F-15 down to the ground to shoot one soldier on foot with his cannon in real life is the day that I'll finally be OK with the way the jets operate in BF2. Until then...
