Auhhhh... The A10... The mother of all fuckups when it comes to planes....
I guess the question really is.... Can you bomb in a regular plane (not bomber, but F18, J10, F35 etc) ? If you can, it's pretty much the same. but you fly at lower speeds, thus your bombs dont have the same inertia. To counter this, you have to change one of two things (or practice slow flying bombing in regular BF2):
1) Approach at a steeper angel than usually. This is normally the best way to learn to bomb with the A10, Downside is that the roller coaster thing isn't really suited for the AF map and the reduced speed makes for very long bombing runs if you climb too high. And most pilots aren't comfortable with the optimal flight height for the A10 anyway.
2) Learn to drop your bombs just a WEEEEEE bit later than you would in a normal bombing dive. Or simply fly LOADS lower before you drop them. Due to the cool MG on the A10, flying at combat helo altitude seems to yield better results than flying in normal airvehicle altitude. Dont rely on your bombs for anything except armor (ok, I know that on the AF maps EVERYTHING is armored, but you know what I mean)

fly highish, dive bomb (60° down or more) and release all 4 bombs, pull up, rearm and repeat

divebombing is the shit. if you are going for a lone tank as well, you can come in shallow and release the bombs into the treads.. just watch out for trees
