- What is the weakest part of an APC/Tank?
Probably the wires in it or maybe the light bulbs. Seat cushion? Is this a test?

I heard there was a layout that divided each vehicle into grids or sections, and showed which areas were the weak spots. If anyone has this I'd love to see it.

dont care what the weak spot is, just get in an jet and drop 2-5 bombs on the apc and it will die ^^
or tv missiles, and 2 or more c4 will kil it before the driver can bail out

With a tank, the weakness is the bounce shot. I wont give away the secret of it, however. Those of you who know, know what I mean.
Aim for the fuel tank, always works in the movies

when using a tank to shoot the other tank/apc, put a shot at the tank right where the top canon part meets the body, and on an apc, into the wheel wells above the wheel and under the side plating. Hopefully the shot will bounce and hit twice, doing double damage, which will kill it.
Last time an enemy tank just came in front of me and shot me... i shot back and waited till it reloaded...
The enemy tank was maybe white-smoking...Then i placed my shot on the Chain-wheels ( you can see it from the front of the tank) I shoot....it explode....2 kills.... ...
If white smoke is like 2/3 Life then a shot on the chain-wheels make extreme damages
...At APC i don't know really... i just know that you don't even need a TV missile from helicopter to kill it...
And if your Assault and watching a fight of 2 APCs and your team ones explode and enemy one burns.. then use a GL and shoot on it... it don't even need to explode on the APC .. it just needs to jump off... and you have another kill

AT rockets to the very top of a tank or apc takes 2 shots.

APCs.. the machineguns mounted on TOWs can take out an APC.

I don't know where the weakest spot is, but i think that it is in the back, because it seems that i kill most tank from the back with SRAW, but with C4 i don't matter where you plant them, just always plant 2 ...
IRL:
Armour is heavy, thats is why you want to have as little as possible, because you want to keep speed and mobility up.
Thats is why you but most amour on the front because it is the most time getting hits... But i don't if this works in BF2
