its the best anti war game ever! if real war was like BF2 everyone would get so pissed off they would literally kill themselfs if they wern't in a jet, tank/apc or a chopper

unless they are an infantry guy where they would be killed by the vehicle whores for standing near a jet

AA was specifically designed as a marketing tool for the army. But once they found it was so popular as entertainment they released it as a game.
Same kind of thing with Sim-City. Was designed to help city planners design and simulate how a city would work. Again it was so entertaining and popular they made it into a game spawning the entire "Sim" franchise.
