that forbids pistol/knife servers? Is this an EA Rule, or just a BF2S rule? I've played one probably a half dozen times and didn't know it was illegal.

If pistol/knife servers are against the rules then EA simply needs to shut them down.

How the hell is someone expected to know they're against the rules if you log in, pull up all the servers, and 20 of them say "pistol/knife only, all others kicked"? Hell I accidentally switched to 3 instead of 2 and pulled the trigger once and git kicked.

There are literally a dozen right there on the MultiPlayer screen EVERY TIME I turn it on. I'm not sure many people know they're against the rules. I damned sure didn't. Still not sure that it's some kind of official deal.

Either way, if they are someone please enlighten me and I'll be done with them...

It's an ROE law, which is authored by EA. EA won't shut down KP servers because it's a good source of income. They probably make a thousand or two dollars a month off of those alone (income not profit).

You might get wiped for playing on them but to be honest, wipes are rarer and rarer, and seem to be targeting innocents or high ranks rather than KPers.

It's under ROE stating that admins may not enforce the abandonment of any available weapons or vehicles.

That blows. I'd hated to get wiped but my stats suck so maybe it would be a good thing.

Man, I feel kind of ill that I got some stats on a knife/pistol server. Now unfortunately if I tell them to take it back, they'll jack everything else I've worked for. That would be grossly unfair. I'd like ot lose the knife'pistol server stats, but not anything else...

Bit of a pickle.

Think I'll just mosey on, keep my mouth shut, and not play those servers anymore.

If (for some odd, crazy, and insane reason) you actually find the random world of knife and pistol games fun, you're more than welcome to play them on UNranked servers. Its just agaist the ROE when there is ranking involved.

That is why I hate people complaining about lack of p/k servers. You can do it all you want, but you don't deserver to get points for it.

i agree, but since there are no unranked once (last time i played in them anyway) you cant go there.....

dont give me bitching of "make your own server", cause i will soon enough, no stupid ea bullshit
