As long as you have patched your game, yes you can use them. This was painfully evident by the fact that one server I was on last night had people complaining they were being teamkilled just so others could steal their guns.
I had a go of the medic unlock when i picked it up, no one could touch me haha.

Bwhaat?! The SF unlocks own like crazy. I can take out whole squads with the F2000 in single, using only one magazine.
