Hey, I've got a wife, a kid every other weekend (hers), I run a small company, and I have too much other shit in my life to know about every rule of every game I buy.
If you buy this game, load it into your computer (or pay someone to do it for you with the sound card and all that bullshit like I did) and you start the game, there's nowhere that it tells you that a server called "RANKED: knife/pistol only others kicked" is cheating. I'd think if it were illegal I couldn't get to it on the EA game in the first place.
Rules of fucking engagement. Are you kidding me? That's all well and good, but how the hell are you supposed to know that they even exist, much less know where to find them? Sorry I didn't take an hour to read the little pamphlet. I carried a real live gun on a real live Frigate and I probably couldn't have told you every ROE there either. Run like hell when the anchor chain turns yellow.
Anyway, the point is that if a server comes up on the list, and is ranked, how the hell am I supposed to know that it's against the mysterious rules of engagement?
Man the level of douchery is astounding. Sorry that before playing I didn't clear which ranked server I was going to play with all you guys who spent 8 hours researching the game. I bought it, I played it, I DON'T cheat. That said, I won't play those servers again but I'm not about to be made to feel like a shitbag for a simple accident that was more EA's fault than anyone's.
