BF2S Forums Flashes in the game now??

OK, but this happened on Mashtur City, is it possible people who have SF to use stuff from it, when they play against people like me who don't have it yet?

I experienced the same on Sharqi when iI suddenly got flashed on the MEC Heli deck.But there was no enemy near by.I already have SF expansion Pack and it´s not possible to use flashbang on non SF maps.So this must be some kind of bug!

i think it is very unfair to the people w/o SF (including me)
i was beeing shot yesterday and i didn't even hear a gun it just was eating my health.

i have unlocked allmost all kits and i ahvent got any SF weapons in bf2.isnt it unfear they got these F2000, G36E etc. and i have to got against them with that M4 or G36C.i didnt get the point when i gain a new rank then i get one of the SF weapons?? i have already unlocked the assault class G3 i can unlock it again to get F2000

I think that you have to get SF to get the unlocks because it installs all the new stuff, not sure though, I would think the new patch might fix this for some of the people who don't have SF, I think that is what the patch if for, any confirmation?

You will have to buy the Special Forces expansion to be able to unlock the SF weapons. Once you do you will be able to use it in both the original and of course in the expansion game.

I just wish that tear gas was included, but then the normal BF2ers would be at a severe disadvantage as they don't have gas masks.

I can't wait to use flash bangs in Karkand so I can have some easy prey to gain my Expert Knife Badge.

You guys should really think of getting SF, as it adds a whole new level of gameplay possibilties with the grappling hook and ziplines.  Once someone attaches one of those devices everyone can use them!  Last night an enemy was trying to climb by grappling hook line I pressed G to pick up my gear and he fell a few stories to his death! HAHA! GOLD!  Another awesome instance was when I shot out a zipline with my sniper rifle and two guys fell to their death. Placing claymores at the end of a zipline is a nasty little surprise too!

Today i was tottaly owned by F2000, G36E, MG36, etc. and i thought; let's start a new acount and unlock the MG36 when i have 500 points (lance corporal). I worked on it for 3 or so hours and then i discovered that i could only unlock the normal BF2 unlocks (to bad man ) It just sucks, now i'm going to get the SF expansion tomorrow so i can own them myself

Correct, unless you found something! You can't unlock the F2000 before G3, it didn't give me the option until I unlocked the G3, I went through all of them drooling and didn't see the F2000 until. Damn I wish I would've got the Flashers instead of the Spec Ops, that gun is the same as the original and Medic.

The Flashbangs can be unlocked even tho you don't have the F2000 I believe, as I was scrolling I did see that as one of the unlocks. But was stupid and did the Spec Ops.. Me + New Game + drooling over new guns = dumba$$  ---  try them in single player before you decide, can't go wrong with flashbangs, everyone will want to be in your squad, biggest stat pad if you ask me, but hey it sucks getting flamed by them but it's the best when you use them! Ironic.
