Has anyone gotten them?

I guess my real question is does your time in a class carry over from BF2?

If anyone has gotten them I know they do. I was just playing on a crappy server.

Thanks

I hope the time carries over. Otherwise that's gonna be another 15 hrs ?? for yet another vet badge for the same kit. I don't think they would do that but who knows. If it happens to be the case it's gonna double the hour requirements to get all the exp badges and who's gonna put in 4000 hrs or something. We'll be on to BF4 by then.

I know it is lame but.... the guys in my squad said they kept getting reawarded the basic badges. One had like 40 kills and I had 23 and there was plenty of time left in the round when I got my last kill.

I did not have the problem of getting my badges again but I did not get my VET. I have not been around to play since then to determine if it was the server or not. But if they were getting their basic again. It had to be working right.

Maybe the worst case is true. The time does not carry over but we shall  see.

The time does carry over, meaning you can get the Special Forces version of the Vet Medic Combat Badge if you have played 15+ hours as medic in bf2. As far as I can tell thus far everything that is similar in both games (such as certain weapons, all of the kits, some vehicles, etc.) is all consolidated into one set of stats. For instance, my medic time in bf2 + my medic time in bf2:sf = my total medic time.

I got my vet engineer badge on SF, I'm assuming my hours from BF2 had to have been carried over to SF stats because I barely put anytime into the game yet.

I have Veteran Engineer and Veteran Support. I'm trying for Expert Engineer, but 44 kills is a bitch.

I'm probably in the minority, but I don't think the time should carry over... I mean, to if you're trying to be a veteran SF medic, for example, you should have to have the required hours as a specialist, not just a regular grunt.

then again I'm also not a player who is on a quest to get every badge possible, so I dunno.

These Sf badges are a tired repeat of the old ones..... booooUrns on Ea, get creative. I got all my kit specific Veteran Sf badges in the first 2 hours... just play one round as each kit and get some kills wammy vet badge???? too ez.
