EDIT: Schma_Magil, when using the Search button, try to use various different search keywords. Sometimes, the information you are looking for is hidden deeply in the murky depths of the forums, and you'll need the right combination of search keywords to find it. Don't give up though, 98% or more of all BF2-related questions have been asked at least once in here.....

you can have as many bots as you like in single player but it's best to set it up as a amod cuz i dunno what PB will do if it detects it

First, go to "X:\Games\Battlefield 2\mods" and copy your ENTIRE BF2 mod directory and paste it again into the same folder, rename it "BF2 SP Mod" or sommat

Second, double click your new mod folder and then the folder named "AI"

Third, Right click on the file "aidefault.con" and select "open with-->Notepad" and replace the contents with the following:

Fourth, you can replace "aiSettings.setMaxNBots x" with any number up to 64 but more than 24 will slow you right down

Fith, you can replace "aiSettings.setBotSkill y" with any numbr between 0.1 and 1.0 (0.1 being easiest, 1.0 being hardest)

EDIT: if you go to The Battlefield Singleplayer Website you can get most of the vanilla and Sf maps in 64 player format for singleplayer
