Ive just hit the 1,000 kill mark just wondering if any members of the community love those little disc of doom as well.

Mine kills always bring a twisted grin to my mug. The only problem is that for every kill with mines I get about 4 teamkills. Freaking n00bs.

Lol I got like 72 in 810 hours of play time
318 and rising.. cant beat a good mine kill especially when you get 3-5 kills pop up when your least expecting it!
also can't beat pinning down a tank so they cant move without blowing up that always makes me laugh..especially if they bail and you hop in..
.wonder if any1 has killed infantry by dropping an AT mine on them? That would be a funny!

Had a mad spell and got upto 453, but dont really use them anymore!
71 after 250 hours. I need to drop some more mines!!!
Off the topic, I've found that if you are in a buggy driving at full speed you can sometimes drive right over the top of mines without them killing you. They explode just as you are passed it damaging the buggy but not blowing it up. Pointless piece of info but still...

Only time i use them is when my tanks on fire because of another tank. I just try to lay them infront of them and hope they are stupid enough to run over them.
I haven't that many kills yet, but I think the engineer kit is the coolest (for city maps at least) even if you aren't going for armor. The Pumpguns rock in CQC (I don't like the MEC gun that much), mines can be a real pain for the hostile armor (put some on urgent roads and keep 1 or 2 to directly engage a tank) and you've got the magic wrench to support your commander and everybody in a vehicle.
It's fun if you manage to defeat a tank rush on your own using the engieer's utilities and ground defense.

mines are great, but hard to get a lot of kills with. I got a flag defence with one against a Black Hawk @ north base of wake. Killing choppers with AT mines is fun.

I've got 218...Wake is pretty good for them as well...Lotsa narrow choke points where you drop them between the trees, hills, etc...I need to start using other kits, though. I always start with something else, and then move back to Eng anyway.

I got like 199, yes I know its a knob score.... But I always have the feeling my mines always atract my teammembers vehicles, and also they light up in the hud of enemy vehicles, no matter where I hide them.....
I prefer to call them Pizza's if you wondering why, stand behind an Engineer and you will see what I'm on about.
My stats say I have successfully delivered 1387 Pizza's.
Songhau is the place to lay them 12" Hawaiin Specials, stick them in the water and enemy drivers fail to see the little bits of pineapple sticking out the water.

in the beginning it was fucked up to use mines becouse of your stupid team members driving over them and me getting a lot of TK's

The same goes for the planes, i get the first at the hangar, get in the plane and those so called teammembers stay in front of your plane. So your team has no backup from the sky....
Makes no sense at all.
i just like finding new and ridiculous places to stick a mine. for example there is always a clever shit who will try to drive through or around a hopelessly claustrophobic space only to have all his hard work wiped out by a laughing engineer.
