use it however you want to, its a weapon. its purpose is to kill your enemy, if you want to use it point blank do it, I do if i have to, usually if my magazine is empty, quick snap to the ol toob can save your ass.
Don't worry about people moaning, its usually the higher rank players who do it anyway, after their bunny hopping/ dolphin diving maneuver with the medic kit while healing themselves has failed - obviously thats real skill right there, Ive just come off a server with some brigadier general bitching at me for using it. despite the fact i killed him with the rifle more than once, and had just killed the other 2 guys in his squad, its not like i was going to not use the nade launcher, obviously sitting there reloading and letting him kill me would have been better. .... retards..
