BF2S Forums Snipers!!!, what's your longest kill shot....image proof needed!!!!!

well, i was jerking off while playing once and i shot and killed the whole of the top ten with one squirt *BOOM* "HEADSHOT!!"

450m- but about 8 kills. Wake -> North Island, near the village. Idiots hopping on the 50cal turret to shoot down our chopper... aim about a half person above their head, fire. I got 2 tank gunners, 3 50cal gunners, and 3 other infantry all at about the same distance.

I have screenies on my other computer... but since I'm not a big sniper I don't care enough to post them.

Hell yeah. I once got a kill with what looked like a single pixel showing (with an AK-101) but there's no way I'd expect anyone to take my word for it... although you could ask Rogu3_granny how much of him was showing

Only problem: I've seen a movie with a tank round firing way and hell beyond visual range to hit a Cobra taking off... well same thing with a sniper shot at extreme range, you'd have no way to prove it since even the player's name won't show up in a screenshot. You need to capture it on Fraps or do it on a server with Battlerecorder running (good luck with that).

hae u noticed that in almost all the long range shots the l96a1 is the gun to use...that just proves my point that the m95 blows

once got 3 guys on the constuction site roof on the flag (on sharqi) from the TV roof by shooting the explosive barrel that i couldn't even see but guessed where it was

no proof but i was proud

1) not that long a distance.
2) really short distance compared to a lot of shots mentioned.

Sorry but i have to disagree with you man i  still mainly use the M-95, you just have to get to know how to shoot the rifle and it does require a little more skill to master compared to to the other sniper rifles.

Nice one. It's great if that's still there when the flag is being capped the first time for a little, ah, concussive clearance. Hard to fathom the nubs that still fall for it but I guess they might not have played Sharqi much, despite their rank.

I know you're a fan of the gun and all but it wouldn't be only about skill. Yes, it does require a different 'touch' than the M24 or L96A1 but there would be a certain amount of luck involved in making very long-range shots because the other two are exactly double as accurate (0.005 v. 0.01). Plus the issues I highlighted in the thread on bullet drop, this gun is more prone than both of the others I believe.

Definitely good for a laugh. I got two attack choppers last night... with the L96A1 Always worth taking a shot at a smoking helo, you might just get lucky! And with the M95 it's definitely worth it if that's what you're using.
