I finally got my kill death ratio to a 2! Wooo. It took me so long, and i also rose my infantry from a 1.14 to a 1.31 in that time. My vehicle and infantry stats are split about 50 - 50, so don't call me a vehicle whore becasue i'll prolly agree with you.

To make this interesting in the least, how long has it taken you to get your k:d ratio up from 1:2, or .5:1?

For me...3 months.

My kdr started at 0.5.... and I keep it rising constantly... So it's at 1.27 now... It took me 150 hours to do that

I'm proud to say that only 27% of my kills are from vehicles.

Hey good for you, I'm trying to recover from my n00b days and get a 1. I constantly get over 2 to 1, but it still takes a really long time.

Tried finding the funny shit post but this will have to do. I was playing in warlord and at the time was armor whoring my a$$ off but doing a really bad job of it. The same guy was with me in the tank a couple times and was killed along with me several times. He finally smartend up and said "LT2tanks, you're as useful as a chocolate lifeguard" I'm not sure why that is funny but I laughed for a while and went right back to sucking in armor. Just had to share that.

Started July 24 with 0.63 and have just got above 1 (yay) on sep 3. Only about 1/4 of my time is in vehicles, and most of that is in jeeps and buggies - I love the mounted Mg's on those.

25% of all kills from vehicles (much smaller if you include transport kills) and 1.86 K/D. I'm pretty proud of that, but i don't think it'll ever get higher, i think I'm on the plateau.

idk what mine is, i know it was never under 1:1 (been playing fps games for 15 years, so my mousing skills are pretty sweet, sweet to the point where my clanmates h8 me when we have sniper wars)

then again when i pub with strangers (as opposed to with clanmates) i generally suck ass cuz i'm trying to get my team to do ANYTHING that resembles a team effort

seriously, try this, create a squad called 'teamworx', invite ppl constantly until you have a full squad
order them around

watch 1 of them follow you around while the rest spawncamp/vehiclewhore

or when commander, order a squad that's not really in the action to circle around and defend a non-base position between the flank of a large nme force and a held CP, THEN watch them decline and camp said held CP and get spammed with nades and die ;D

or if they do what you ask, order yer main force to back off, effectively pulling the nme force with them, and push yer "rogue squad" in the back of the CP to cap

OH LOOK NME can't RETREAT TO ANYWHERE MY GOD

My KDR ratio is rising every day i play..

Slowly though..

I play wake island and get owned by the J-10s and Helis alot..

So its hard to get a awesome KDR..

I started a new account and played karkand and my KDR was like 3. something..

Some maps are just hard to get a good KDR..
