After months of reading posts of fellow CTD'lers, I decided to post a small summary of what I have found so far concerning "possible solutions".
Plese notice, that I can't remember every single author of every post, but these "fixes" were not found by myself.
I just tried them out and found a mixture of them, that seems to reduce the crashes tremendously. At least it does on my system and I can play for 6 hours without a single crash now.
1) Disable VOIP in the ingame menu.
2) Check the "automatic ready" checkbox and wait, until the game connects to the running map on a server
by itself. Do NOT hit the "join game" button. Be patient!
3) Update your mouse driver. Sounds funny and may have nothing to do with the crashes, but it can only
help.
4) Update the safedisc-driver from macrovision.
5) Exclude every driver that is used for gameplay and the BF-directory from the antivirus-check of your
antivirus program.
6) Disable the Windows-Firewall (only if you are using another firewall or router with a built-in firewall).
7) Set your ingame connection-speed to cable/ DSL.
8) Try to reduce the latencies of your RAM.
At this point, I would like to thank all the people for their hints. It was the combination of your hints, that made the game fun again.
