Damn my computer is broken and i sitting here on my parents computer. where i may not play bf2 . By lightning is my computer broken

- harddisk broken
- dvd player broken
- and memory

and this happend when is was on vacation DAMN!

Exact same thing happened to me, I got a 7950 off my insurance people

Along with a load of other stuff, see if you can make a claim or something, and buy a surge protector (or in my case buy one that works)

Yep, day before I went on holiday the whole area blacked out and I think we had a power surge, fried a ton of stuff, strangly enough though my CPU still worked, was hoping I could con a Fx-62 out of the insurance people, wasn't to be though.

I'm very sorry for what happened to your computer. The post about insurance money sounds like the way to go for the future.
