I have searched the other topics but can't find something exactly like this problem.
I have DSL via a shared connection with my apartment manager. (He setup a router from his comp to mine.)
Sometimes when I am trying to connect to a BF2 server it will give me a connection lost message. Then, when I go to check the internet and such, it won't connect either. But the network settings show that I am connected. The "sending packets" seems to work, but the "receiving packets" doesn't move. So I lose my connection for awhile, I re-boot multiple times, re-enter all the ip addresses for the network and such, but it still doesn't work. Finally, I will just turn the damn thing off and leave it off overnight. When I turn it on the next day or night, the connection is working again.
Soooo....I have lost the connection after manually entering the IP address of a BF2 server, after trying to apply the server filters and after checking the BFHQ for my stats. Any idea why this happens, any solution short of calling my apartment manager everytime I lose my connection, any help at all would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you.
