I have trouble getting it too.. try and search, there should be about three million topics discussing it..
i got veteran months back. it was much easier then to blow up stuff. i'm just happy with veteran, i've no intention of going after expert. ever. Just use cover, be careful and choose targets carefully. Thats all the help i can give.
It's simple and hard at the same time:
Find a 16 player server hosting 64 player Warlord map (i.e. high ticket count = 300)
Either capture or allow the enemy to capture one of the flags in the Palace. Then just start tactically placing C-4 in the halls etc. It only took me 2 maps to get expert doing this.
Other maps will work but stick to something that is perdominately a ground map, i.e. karkand, sharqi, mashtuur, etc. Though I found trying it on vinalla servers hard as hell and was only able to get veteran on them.

You have to learn the rules of the game and then you have to play better than anyone else.

I got 42 kills in a round as sniper and i think only 1 was acually with a sniper and another was with pistol...
I really managed to annoy the whole server especialy [SAF]. Haha
