is anything/anyone else using the internets while you are? are you using a wi-fi or wired router?
check the blinky lights on the router if it's a wi-fi. maybe someone is stealing your internets.

Add bf2.exe to ur virusscanner/firewall to save programs or something like that or turn off.

Take a look at top 10 tweaks for bf2 topic.

Doesnt work?

bro, I was recently having this issue myself.  I did a complete reinstall of the game, and it worked like a charm.

this is absolute crap, its my fucking internet i think. I just tried posting like a paragraph and it takes 5 minutes to submit until it finally says:

Internet explorer cannot connect or something like that.

Sound like it is a connection type issue.

If you are running P2P or file sharing then these can cause huge problems.
Firstly because half of them install spyware on your PC, second because half the downloads have spyware in them, and thirdly because they take up all your upload bandwidth.

I would recommend scanning your PC for viruses and spyware. Programs like "adaware" from lavasoft are shareware [free for personal, not corporate use], and do  a good job. Get your self some decent anti virus  and personal firewall software, I recommend Norton or Mcafee. They are only a few dollars or pounds, and well worth it considering how much your computer costs.

Hope this info helps man.

Hello,

I had that since the 1.3 patch. After checking, I have noticed that my seeings have been changed for the connection : T1/LAN was instead of Cable/ADSL .
After changing no more problem !
Try it and let me know
