Best way to convince someone to Patch to Current

Hey, theres a few idiots at school, that still refuse to patch the game, and I am looking to recrute them for my meger clan, but the hitch is, they wont budge

Apparently, its because, "The better players play there"

Whatever, they arent even ranked, fucking dipshits, the only people that play 1.0 are people who dont know there is a patch, or people who want a smooth game, at the expense that only 1% of BF2 players play 1.0

Whats the best way to convince these shits to patch to the current version?
