what the hell is bunny hopping

ok today i got kicked from 2 different servers for bunny hopping. hopping means more then one hop hence the "ing" if i jump once and then go prone (kinda like a dive) how is that hopping. When i used to play in paintball tournaments i would do that all day long works well in real life so i do it in the game and retard admins get all butt hurt.....wtf!!!!

correct me if im wrong but i do belive kicking for this is aginst the eula for a ranked server isnt it???

What do bunnies do? They hop...alot. What you were doing was...what I believe is called...Dolphin diving. Ppl don't like it...and they cry. When that person is an admin...they kick. Move on and find another server is my opinion.

no. its not.

bunny hopping is continuously hopping up and down and around. dolphin diving is jumping and going prone...or sprinting jumping and going prone.

guaranteed you didnt do this in paintball tournaments. first, you cant jump ten feet in the air. second, if you landed on your stomach from ten feet up, youd be in a good deal of pain.

stop your bitching and play the game.

I absolutly...hate...hoppers and divers. I serriously think EA's next patch should have it so that when you jump, it takes your gun away in the same fassion it does when you sprint.

i agree. counterstrike actually has a nice feature where your accuracy just goes to shit and when you come down, you take a second to land where you move more slowly and you cant jump again.

or EA could make the patch increase your hit area when you jump. where it is I think your hit area shrinks so no one can hit you ( except me ) lol

as long as I`m on the ( should be on the next patch issue ) I think a punish should cost the punish er a few team points or something that way some of these ass-wipes wouldn't be so quick to punish for mostly their mistakes

thats stupid. someone intentionally TKs me for a jet so i punish. so not only do i get an unearned death, but now i get negative points too? that just gives people more incentive to TK. good idea though, seriously...keep em coming. with thoughts like that youll be working for EA in no time.

if bunnyhopping will save my life, im gonna do it. if dolphin diving will save my life, im gonna do it. i will not repeatidly exploit this glitch, but when it comes down to it, its me or you. i will do whatever it takes in the heat of the moment, but i definatly dont base my style around these 'shady' tactics.

Personally, I've never had too much of a problem with the merry bouncers. I just drop prone and focus on actually landing the shots, and that's normally enough. Their bouncing around generally means they can't land a bullet to save their life, so I only find a problem with them when they're using non-aim weaponry (grenades, C4, stuff like that).

The only time I've actually ever favored hopping over aiming as a tactic is when I turn round a corner to find 4 cowards in a rape group ready to roll over me. I have no qualms about bouncing around throwing nades in every direction if this is the situation, and only because I know I'm dead and it's a question of how many I can take with me. Pretty much all other times it makes no sense to do it.
