OK dw, remember to backup your old localisation files first if things go wrong. If you dont feel like editing them yourself a few people (like punkx, zenmaster) made their own that you can download, again im lazy, search.

they just changed their localisation files, the +2 bonus means they got 2 points for killing someone. Pretty useless if you ask me but some like it. Not that they gained extra points, they just changed the game a little so they know how much points they earned. (although you know that for yourself that you get 2 points for killing someone...)

The main point in having it say +2 is to increase visibility of whats going on. In default configuration all messages are small, unbolded, and gray. So when you go on a killing spree, or get a bunch of team-damage, or ammo points, or heal points, you don't have time to distinguish between what is what before it is all off your screen.

People like the big text.

cool ... i didnt know if it gave you access to metric you may not normally see ... example ... my guess on what +2 might have meant "you killed so and so twice" ... but ... thanks for the input
