Let me get this right, when u load up Battlefield, ur computer reboots? WTF?

when you play 10 minutes  then it  just  go off and reboot?


I had to search long on my PC  as i was playing BF Vietnam  to get the Heating Problem...

My computer just overheated all the time and crashed...     

i removed some stuff inside  to make more   space for graphic card
and  opened the side    that  the air will get in 

and i was so  happy that all  better games than Minesweeper and Heart (^^)  will  go again

seems like a heating problem to me too.
Or your powersupply but I think somehow your powersupply can't handle the fan's at full speed, (on your graphics card and he just reboots so he doesn't explode.

What is the wattage of your power supply?

How many Watts is the power output?

My friend just updated his system, Mobo, GPU, CPU etc. but thought he'd be OK with his old 330W PSU. He ended up with restart after restart after restart with BF2.

So, if your power supply is under 350W, get yourself a 400W+ PSU.

Wattage on power supplies are virtually meaningless gibberish, most will never even hit the stated output let alone sustain for length of time. Amp rating on the +12V rail is whats important (sticker on the side of the psu will have a table telling you what it is) as thats what powers the expansion cards.

A graphics card upto about ati x800 or nvidia 6800 will chew through around 16amps, nvidia 7000 series and ati x1800/1900 will want more like 20, sli or crossfire will want more like 25 bare minimum, probably around 30 really.
