Everytime I try to join a SF server it simply goes back to the server browser screen. No error message or anything. And yes, I have installed the patch twice (once before and once after installing the game). Im gonna try and patch it again now, but any help would be appreciated.

Random thought:
Try re-entering your CDKey, theres a proggy in the battlefield 2 > support folder that lets you enter it. Once BF2 randomly crashed if I connected to a game, and that sorted it.

I had that same problem. My only solution was to uninstall the expansion pack, reinstall, then apply the new patch.
