i have been surfing the internet and found when battlefield 2142 is going to be released, it has a release date of 16th october 2006, the beta version is going to be released early august, which means soon.
Release: begining of August
Open: Only 10,000 to 50,000 people (there is only 22,000 bf2 players, on average)
there is also a rumour that all current battlefield 2 members will recieve an invitation to the beta version of battlefield 2142.
