have you noticed, if you stay on an air defence stinger thingy and ure the commander something strange happens. if you kill more than 3 people through artillery strikes while on it and stay on it for 3min you get the ribbon!!!!! lol. so technically you dont even need to try. coz you just stay at your home base and get on a stinger. vuala!!!!! command from the stinger and you get your ribbon!!!! haha. something needs to be done.

If they fix this bug they need to make a way for ground/air defense to be more effective... when was the last time you got 12 kills in air defense or spent 100h in it just for fun?

This is old old old news. You can also get 20/40 kills with arty and get your vet/expert combat badges.
Exactly, you can use the commander position for almost every Ribbon or Badge, except the Heal, Supply, Repair, C4 etc. ones by just being commander and sitting in a TOW, MG, Stinger, Tank, Plane, Chopper, Mobile AA and so on. And you can even destroy your own commander assets while being commander and not losing a single point through this and then repair it and get the apropriate Repair Badge. Another thing I heard is that ppl use the commander position to get their C4 Badge, they can kill everything even themselfes without losing a point or being kicked by default (of course still the enemy kills count, but its much "safer" that way)RasorX wrote:
