I don't play when its not fun. I rage quit.
(If it's not crashing) I think I'm having fun... then I come out and my points/awards havent been recorded, I get the shits and refresh 50 times in a panic. I'm not a very spectacular player, if I get a Vet badge I want it to stay!!!
But yeah, the game still rules, if only it wasnt so buggy.

I always have fun, mainly when I'm in a good squad with my clan mates.
The only thing I don't like is getting stuck on a retarded team. Not a bad team, I don't care about losing; I like playing a defensive role especially as sniper, but if I get on a team that just doesn't know what their doing whether they do it well or not it just isn't fun.

99% of the time I have fun hence why I have played over 500 hours of this god damm game.
This is too true. I have always been a team player w/ my squad and team as my first concern, but as of late I find myself whoring for points to make the next rank. The span between gunnery sgt. and First sgt. is long and I am so close all I can think about is getting as many points as possible. (It will prob. not mean so much after I get all the unlocks.) Not to mention the "when in Rome" thing where so many players are just out for themselves it is hard to stay focused on squads... which no one seems to take seriously. All to often I form a squad and 5 people join up and are never to be seen, some don't even stop to give you a ride. I guess the point of this ramble is that I LOVE THIS GAME... when its good. But when it's bad...... It is frustrating!!!Jussimies wrote:

When i get annoyed and frustrated about this, I do the fun things, like C4 jumping onto people heads and such. Buggys are the best for fun as you can do all sorts of stunts in them, like barel rolls off the dam at Kubra
This is probably why ive got a couple of hundred suicides at gunnery sergeant >.<
im trying not to get sick of bf2, and enjoy it for what it is, not the points. but as much as i enjoy it, im a little sick of it. playing special forces can be a fun break, but the enjoyment is just not the same as when i was a first sgt or whatever. i think i need a break, but i dont want to stop playing, i have nothing better to do.
YES
I only wish I could make serious money doing it, then I could take a huge crap on my boss's desk and quit work.
Wait...I am the boss...

yay
I try to play with as many of my friends as I can so I can have a useful squad. I still have fun most of the time anyway.
I feel exactly the same when i play on the Bf2s server or with some Bf2s guys I dont care about how many points I have got in that round as it is allways good when a team works together well. However when i join other servers and people arn't trying to work as a team and are just pointwhoring it gets on my nervers and so the focus switches from fun to getting as many points as I can.Defiance wrote:

I am glad you made me choose yes or no, as i now realize that for all the CTD's and connection drops, and the games where i get so comprehensively owned i strop off, i am still enjoying this game.
Though the good and uninterrupted games are only 30% of the time, they are much more enjoyable and more than make up for it.
(and all this from a player who managed to get another Purple heart last night)

I voted yes, but i'm getting sick of the school kiddies spoiling it for everyone else......
Why play the game if your not having fun?
no-posters: why do you play it then????
if i wasnt having fun i wouldnt be typing this nor would i have spent $99
i have a lot of fun playing but it shits me when it crashes ><
Are you shittin me your only master Sarge, Wait til you get to Lieutenant, you'll just have enough of it, and even then u cant do it without whoring a vehicle, meaning you've got to deal with Tk'ers and spastics.Smaug wrote:

I only play at night about 11pm til 3am, it varies(I work afternoons), and its just become what I do every night. The main thing I look forward to is playing with the people ive meet in my time of playing the game.
Im also basically going from rank to rank. I have no goals, ive done just about everything, its just the same old. Ive taken to flying but its fucking up my hand(i use mouse and keyboard) so i have to limit that.
I rage all the time, mainly if my team are noobs, another problem is ive got a high expectation of myself so underperforming makes me angry. Until i have a round where I rip out the shock paddles and zap away at the nubs.
when i do play yes very much so
but like a earlier poster said. im startin to feel the burn out. and only at 30k.
ive played all the bf games since day 1. so this is probably it
but i will hit master sgt. then hang the game up to dry
alot of great titles comin out in a few months
might play 2142 maybe..
maybe i should join a clan or something, im gettin tired of pubs and not really havin a team
but really no time in my life to be in a clan=/
