Teampoint ribbons

I seem to have a damn hard time with getting my teampoint-based ribbons.. Like the Meterious Unit Ribbon, Valorous Unit Ribbon and the Legion of Merit Ribbon. All I'm missing are the team points for each ribbon, but how on earth is that possible! I've been playing for over 200h and how often are you NOT in a squad? Is it possible that in all my squad time, we haven't been able to get a lousy 40-45-50 team points?

Either I'm too stupid to understand the concept or there's something really weird going on.. Is there anyone else there with the same or similar situation?

Go Support, and cap flags.

Medic (unless you pad) Is too hard to get 45 on a *Normal map* (not kark) so go Supply, and cap flags and get kill assists.

Not the squad need the teampoints, you alone have to get those 40 / 45 / 50 team points IAR.
It doesn't matter how many points your squad gets.

Kills don't count towards Team points. (not trying to be patronizing BTW)

There was a a sniper thread where some were saying that its the best kit for kill assists, just take one shot to the body and let someone else finish them. Think i would prefer to go support/med and spam my kit.

Thanks mates.

Didnt know you had to get 40-45-50 points by yourself. But that explains alot... suddenly it doesnt seem to be that hard, as long as I focus on resupplying instead of KDR.

Go medic, it's absolutely the best way. Play any long round and you should have little trouble... large map, lower player load would make it a snap; on Karkand or Sharqi with 40 or more players it should be doable also (although not as sure). Since it's on the horizon you may want to wait for no-vehicle mode which'll make this a hell of a lot easier.

You're not being dense, it's not absolutely clear from the stats screen or in UBAR but I think, like with many other awards, you have to get the IAR requirements after the global requirements.

I got my meritorious, valourous merit and LM ribbon by going as assault in a transport bazzing it around capping flags. I got the meritorious and valourous in one round (about a month ago) and the LM a few days ago doing this method
