MS will be halfway to their next gen console by that time. MS got a big head start this time. Either way competition is good for all.

I have a 360 and obviously a Pc. The benefit of "Tray and Play" are good for consoles but you lose a lot as well. Downloadable content, a much better multi play community. Xbox live has a long way to go, and you have to pay for it... pfft

GRAW looks nicer on PC when you run it on the latest equipment, and no it doesn't run better on PC in multiplayer because no one has a microphone to use with on pc + mouse and keyboard suck for this game.

I'm buying the PS3 coz it kicks asses way over the X360. I don't agree that Xbox is better than PS2 like said before. Anyway, the PS3 is the beast and you can't have a PC to even it coz only the nvidia card that carries is more powerful than 2 7800gt together in performance. I also plan to upgrade my pc always coz pc is pc, you can't play BF2 in a console as in the pc.

no i call microsoft and they say not our problem take it back to where i bought it from (where i used to work)

they say you should know the rules we dont exchange 360s call microsoft again, so call and argue with microsoft. they then say send us back you machine with out its box or plugs or cables just the machine on its own.

fine i do this, then they return not fixed because i sent my harddrive with the machine , so take off hard drive resend it comes back and plug it in and doesnt work.

That's not true - it may squeeze more power out of it's GPU. But it's not as good as 1 7900GT, let alone 2.
The RSX is based on the G70 Series and is a lot like a hybrid 7600GT/7900GT

7900GT :

7600GT :

* 560 MHz core frequency
* 128-bit memory interface

My PC > xbox360 & PS3 already.

I'm going to buy a Wii though for it's originality in how the games are going to be played now. Not to mention that it'll be connected to the internets 24/7 (assuming it's plugged in all the time). Then there's the ability to play old GC games (which is a great feature for me) AND the ability to download most if not all of Nintendo's games from the Golden years. NES, SNES, the shortly but great lived years of N64, also some games from the TurboGrafix and some games from SEGA. Wewt!

Of course there's the matter of games coming out for the Wii. Red Steel, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Metroid Prime 3 , 'n so much much many more.

I also never forgot this saying. It's how you play the game, not how good it looks.

The actual failure rate for x360's was reported as somewhere around 5%, a number I got from speaking to an actual M$ tech and a number that's been repeated by the media. Even if that's a lowball estimate, the standard failure rate for consumer electronics is 10% (i.e. 10% of all devices sent out there have some sort of issue), which would put x360 still under the average. We heard alot about H/W issues soon after launch because of a very vocal minority and big media exposure on those who reported H/W issues. The kind of people who had the x360's first were, by and large, the enthusiasts who would bitch and whine and make a loud fuss if something didn't work right.

As for scratching CDs and such I can't speak for all owners but I've never seen anything like that with my x360. I've had the console since January and only ever experienced one crash and no other bugs/issues/glitches/etc. I'm glad Sony has a fancy-pants shiny product they're releasing and I'm happy for whomever wants to get one. I'm perfectly satisfied with my x360 and don't intend to get PS3. I'd rather spend my $600 on something else.
