Honestly what is the point of playing any more out of 15 games today 12 crashed.I don`t know if there fixing it for the next patch in fact i very much doubt it ,this game has been screwed with every patch so far so fuck it that`s my lot unless i hear it`s fixed. Or you could try and ask for help. Like what are you computer specifications, what settings do you have BF2 on, are you running any background processes? When does the game crash? There are a lot of things you can do to make BF2 run better and not crash. But we can't help you unless you ask first.

Got the same thing. Tried to play SF today, EVERY 10 servers I went into resulted in game crash! And YES, the vanilla BF2 works perfect (maybe 2 out of 10 servers results in game crash)...
No no no, The servers are crashing, everyone cops for it, if you log back in they`re empty, you can hear others groaning on voip, it`s the servers. Like i said, Fuck it i`ve had enough, this game was fantastic before all the whiny little shits got their way and had it patched to death.

2 out of 10 isn't perfect, its 80%, which is still pretty shitty.
I pretty much plan on my first 1-2 attempts to logon to result in CTDs. After that, it's a crapshoot as to how long I'll get to play before the server drops.
With no other system changes since 1.22, I went to the above scenario whereas before, I had maybe one hard lockup every 3-4 weeks. Acceptable at that point, not so much so at present.
I'm plenty competent enough to troubleshoot a game, and that coupled with many personal friends running a variety of hardware and still seeing the same results as me, I believe there is nothing I could do to improve this.

Yeah, getting sick of losing all my points after the server crashes. Lost at least 1-2k points so far and it's annoying as hell.
To hell with the points. Take them away and I'll be happy. I just want a stable and fun 'experience'.
Okay, you can't do anything about server crashes. So don't kill yourself over it.
