(though I have a sneaking suspicion that the true problem is that people do not know how to properly search... for instance this one guy told me that he tried to search for something along the lines of, "how do I get cool guns in bf2?" I do not understand how someone who has grown up in such a technological age would not know how to use a search engine...)

haha, i read the one about the guy trying to figure out how to turn his name orange...but somehow didnt search for "orange name".
