Is any one here NOT going to get 2142?

I'm not. Not because I'm mad at EA or something, but it doesn't look all that great, and I already have so much time invested in BF2. TOO much time.

I'm sticking with BF2 until something better comes along like I did with RVS, CS, and HL.

I'm going to play an assload of the demo, and If it is

1) Stable (roffels..)
2) a Decent game

I'll buy it. Although this time I'll be sure to get the DVD version...

I don't know, I too have spend too much time on this one, but if the gameplay and awarding points is going to be upgraded, than I will probably switch to 2142. I know that graphics aren't that different from bf2, but afterall it's an 64 on-line multiplayer game, so I think that the graphics are just ok.

Yeah. I pretty much only buy benchmark games (HL2, Oblivion, etc) and play the heck out of it, untill the next best game. It just seems stupid to change from this, to 2142 after all ive done.

Theres still many more things I want to achieve in BF2 before I hang it up. The only advantage 2142 has it its new, and differnt. Id rather see 4 more maps for BF2 than this come out.

well many people are going to go for QW but after reading a review of QW i dont think its for me, 2142 is more sandbox than quake. so 2142 is for me.

I am looking forward to BF2142 but I will not buy it untill they fix the crash issue with BF2. If they can't fix Bf2 what would make me think they can put out a bug free BF2142? Just because they are in a rush to beat Quake Wars (as everyone probably knows) doesn't mean I have to run out and buy it.
