Wrong Country Displays

Last resort and effort its been months and no one anywhere knows the answer to the issue.

In my BFHQ's my Stats show my country to be USA but I'm in Australia! When I created the profile I DID select Australia it USED to display as Australia flag and then it stopped and been on USA for months.

My gamespy ID does infact show my country as Australia.

Ive created a new profile and tested and the BFHQ stats show my country flag as Australia.

Ive emailed EA support long ago now they replied with something like, since it is not a technical issue they cannot assist. Blah.

I dont know what to do or how to change it.

Okay to you it might be, big deal so what etc, but I want my stats to show me as the country I am.
And have used my account since the first day th egame was released so I am certainly not going to play on a new account.

Some here know what I can do to fix this issue or how ???

maybe you should become an american citizen........just kiddin', seriously, maybe you should re-install the game, it seems to be the solution for almost all problems with BF2

Thats alreayd been done and was obvious didnt need to be done, when new profiles have my proper country.

Anyone know the solution ?

I have never heard of someone's country changing randomly like this. Odds are you simply registered with the country United States selected. Either way, there is no way for a user to change their country once an account has been created. Perhaps if you make a big enough stink about it to EA they will change it for you.

But it did change on its own believe that or not.
It did used to display Australia flag long ago and then stopped and shows usa. Yes I know sounds unlikey but the unlikely doesnt mean not possible somehow as well.

Infact I think and this is only a rough assumption, but I think the country flag changed when there was some issue with EA's stats and everyone had unlocked guns for a day. But not 100% on that except yes I am 101% sure it used to display Australia and now does not.

I have emailed EA they have stated its not a technical issue therefore nothing they can do.

Guess I'll give have to leave it as USA.

Yes I do, not sure what you mean by you cannot access my feed. You referring to my stats ?

I did post elsewhere about wanting to add your leaderboard to my site.

Yes I have the expansion, had it for 4days now or there abouts and can still view my stats (I think) Well Sf ones arent updating though

So re-meailing EA be pointless I guess.

Who actually handles the stats of bf2 ? Im told gamespy does, ea says gamespy, gamespy says ea.

honestly i wouldnt worry about it.
EDIT: Thinging about it, its a possibility that your surfing it being redirected by malware or spyware. when was the last time u ran anti-spyware?

Considering makes no difference who accesses my stats country flag shows USA and ye I do worry about it, It bugs me, Im an aussie and want to be known as one.

and im sure he had belgium for the first 4 months.
why is the flag of the vatican in this game anyway I don't see the Pope pwning in a tank
