When you get disconnected from a game, are the points earned during that game lost?
Because lately I have been getting the "There is a problem with your connection" error, and getting disconnected in middle of games.  I try to rejoin them, but sometimes they end before I get back. 
So do you lose the points you earned during that game?
What about time spent as squad leader/member/commander?

Nope, should keep the points.  The points are stored server-side, not client-side.  So, whenever the server loads the next map, should update your points.

What about wins/losses?
Because earlier today there was this guy that kept disconnecting if our team was losing near the end of the round, then he'd rejoin after the new game started.  Does he avoid a loss by disconnecting?

if your in the server for 5 or more minutes its counts as a round no matter when you leave. so all points and awards get updated and im pretty sure whatever team you played the most will be the team it recognises you as played on for that round.

About the last part of your reply the_heart_attack, does it mean that people who switch teams last second do NOT get the win even though they switched over?

They do.  I got auto team switched one time with 1 ticket left, to the WINNING team (for once).  I got a win.

They do.  I got auto team switched one time with 1 ticket left, to the WINNING team (for once).  I got a win.
Lucky you, I always seem to get switched over to the losing team.  I bet about 40 of my losses are due to the auto balance feature. 
I wish they would switch lone wolves before squad members, I mean since they are running around by themselves, who cares which team they are on?
Today I found a squad where the leader was great, the commander was great, the squad members were great...then I got switched.

What's worse about autobal is that after a round a lot of idiots change team to be on the winning team, and this causes people originally on the winning team to be switched to the other.

Although it's all the better if the other team wins this time, pissing the n00bs off again
