we were in the same sqaud for ages, he was support, i was support, and the squad was doing well. i finished fourth, the leader first and volx third (some other random second) on our best round and it was similar for other rounds.
he was awesome to watch but i could not help asking myself 'how the hell does he move like that?!?' i'd be right next to him, fighting toe to toe with him and then BOOM! i'd get hit by something or other and i'd respawn on the leader (not volx by the way) and volx would still be there in the same spot where i was for aaagggeeesss - he must be damn well nearly impossible to kill!
i also took a leaf out of his book and try to leap around prone and leap and prone and never stay still like he does but i just couldn't keep up!
however, the highlight was being in such an awesome squad. it wasn't just volx, it was the whole squad. the leader was a medic, me and volx support and a couple of other randoms, and it was just fantastic. the kit interchanging was superb, volx and the leader got blew up, i'd pick up the leader's kit and revive them both and vice versa. we moved as a squad and always stuck together. one of those rare times when you just wish the game could go on forever, a joy to play, but then the demon 1.3 patch kicked in and the connection went and the squad members did not come back!
a great memory of just how good BF2 can sometimes be!
