No, only those with 'suspicious stats' will be wiped.  The offender would, along with anyone else that looked like they were involved in statpadding, not the entire clan.

This isn't against clans themselves, this is against the clans that lease servers to statpad, and no other reason.

Because they didn't put in their TOS that knife and pistol servers were illegal. 98% of people in the world who play BF2 don't know they are illegal.

not every bf2 player uses forums,so wouldnt it make more sence if ea wanted to inform the community about whatever bullshit rules they wanna inforce on a GAME,to email the ROE rules list to everyones bf2 account name email address?.
or how about adding them to the install screen of patches.or even create an info section in the game browser listing the rules.

adding an ROE to a game just makes me fuckin laugh lol,& bf2's the only one in the series for me until they fuck that dumb shit off cause they aint gettin no more of my money then adding rules later down the line trying to tell me how to play what i paid for.

as for 2142,you think i wanna buy a game that after 6months will get nurfed to shit/extra bugs/crashes & changed so far from the original content that i paid for & be unable to get my money back?,...no thanks.

I thought this had to do with the people leasing the servers... so the appropiate channels of distribution are through the server rental people via direct email or announcement on their server admin pages. Indianscout is doing us a favor here by posting on bf2s.com forums since it really doesn't apply to most of us. Lets not be arrogant pricks *ahem* and take everything like it's against us.

Anyway, looks like EA is gonna whoop some clan admin ass... woot!

Edit: Oh and one last thing, if you don't like the goddamn BFROE, go play on an unranked server. You can do all the tking, bunny-hopping, stat padding, circle jerking that you want. ROE are needed for a global stat system like the one in BF2 (first ever I do believe) to ensure a fair gaming experience for every one. Wanna play on ranked servers? Gotta play by the rules... They aren't forcing us to abide by the ROE people, we have a choice... it's called unranked.
