Sometimes i see some players have like 300 or so loses and then i look at how many wins they have and its almost 5000+ or some other high number. How is it possible to get so many straight wins? Do they switch teams at the last second or what, cause i always stick to the team the server assigns me...unless i get swapped at the last minute to the losing team and then i want to switch back.

a good team player can be a jet whore if a bunch of noobs are trying to fly the bomber which with a good piliot is a HUGE asset to a teamcyborg_ninja-117 wrote:

jetwhoring is different from being a good pilot, jetwhoring means your a crap pilot and still want a jet.Kamakazai wrote:

Or you may also disconnect before the round is over.....
Or just team switching, I dunno how many times I've seen the opposing team's numbers double, if not triple by the end of a map, it's retarded.cyborg_ninja-117 wrote:

If you lose, YOU LOSE! TAKE THE LOSS AND FIGHT HARDER THE NEXT GAME.
Those pussies.
The majority team switch. There are very few that actually can do it with teamwork.
i know im a hooker for jetsLT.Victim wrote:

yes exactley if theres no autobalance switch 2 winning team at end of round
Most Team switch, I find it annoying. Worst is when you're winning and doing good for you team so the enemy switches, when you die you get put on the other team. Life is shit at times but I go on.
Been on some servers like 40 to 12 that's bull. So, well might as well make the best of it, TANKWHORE!!!

lol, I always stick with my team.
Thats why I loose alot.
Check out my Win/Loss ratio in the stats link. It's just sickening!

Remember they don't have to be straight wins but anyway, a number of ways.ChyneseGUY wrote:

Switching to the winning side
This is one way, although it's not the most efficient because sometimes it's just not possible.
Never joining a side that's already losing
This is a much better general method. This is one of the things that experienced players may have realised early on in their careers; it's not widely publicised.
Owning it up
Sometimes you can do so well that you directly contribute to your team winning, simple as that; basically killing lots.
Playing smart
Capping flags, particularly tactically-important flags like the TV station on Sharqi, and then holding that territory can almost ensure a win if you can keep the enemy commander's toys down for the entire round.
Clan players
The primary way that a clan player (has to be a good clan) will have a higher-than-average WLR is because he's usually on the team that's going to win, especially if they play on their home turf most of the time. This is sometimes referred to as team stacking; you have a bunch of guys who are communicating through Teamspeak or something similar, cooperating on their gameplay and are just used to playing together. Even without the familiarity aspect, simply playing in one or more well-balanced squads, the members of which can communicate even when dead (unlike when using VOIP) is in itself a huge advantage against an assortment of random players on the opposition (who aren't even using VOIP most of the time), since every time one of your medics revives you you get one less death; this is one less ticket lost, and is better for their stats too obviously. In case it's not obvious it also gives the player ten seconds more they can be capping a flag, killing an opponent etc. and if you've got four or more guys alive capping a flag it gets converted fast.
Cheating/exploiting
Clans playing on home turf may additionally utilise built-in side advantages to greatly increase the natural chance of winning: always being on USMC on 32-player Karkand, because they have an APC and a tank; always being MEC on Sharqi, because of the power of the MI-28; always being PLA on Wake because of the J-10 and the Chinese attack helicopter.
They may additionally utilise outright cheating tactics to ensure a win, things like having a spy on the enemy team (who's in the same Teamspeak server that his mates on the other team are on) reporting on troop movements, the commander's position etc.

My definition of a jetwhore is someone who does nothing BUT fly the jet. The whole round, even when you finally get lucky enough to drop them with GLA or AA...they just respawn and run right for that jet.... same def. applies to armor whore, medic whore, etc. Basically one who does nothing but the same thing over and over...cyborg_ninja-117 wrote:

oh and yeah, almost forgot...it's essential they kill you over and over.... otherwise you don't even notice it... :-)
If you disconnect before the end of the round, the server stores the information so that if in the end your team does lose, it will count as your loss. So if you're gonna lose anyway, might as well stay and try get a few more points.
play for the team and not for yourself, but thats boring so i dont do that
To orignial question.... They win.
Exactly.Vub wrote:

Although there are situations where it's best to not continue to fight (either disconnect or wait out the round) if your stats are important to you of course.Vub wrote:

if you want it simple, 24/7 sharqui. us loses 85% of their tickets at the tv tower heli spawn, yet they keep spawning there.
1. Switching teams near the end of a round will not get you a win
2. Being on a good team is the key
3. Being a good teammate.

Just play like me...
