when patch 1.4 beta version 1 came out i installed it following all the instructions, everything was going ok untill it had the instructions to uninstall it, i followed them and the copy of battlefield 2 was deleted and now i cant uninstall patch 1.4. what should i do? and is anyone else having the same problem? help would be very much appreciated. thanks.
uninstall bf2 then reinstall up to the 1.3 patch
could i wait untill patch 1.4 actually came out, or can i just reinstall patch 1.3 over patch 1.4

Reinstalling from scratch will certainly solve your problem but what exactly went wrong? You should have had two copies of BF2 on the machine, the one you had initially (1.3) copied to a new directory, with the patched copy in the default location (or wherever you install games yourself). So just delete the 1.4 beta version manually, in Windows Explorer or My Computer, whichever you use yourself, then move the 1.3 installation to that place; that should get you back to normal and ready for the full 1.4 patch.
thanks but i think iw ill just wait for patch 1.4 or i need to go out and buy the bf2 game, i originaly borrowed it off a friend hu doesnt play it anymore and then he wanted it back, so.
