hi

often i gain driver point for doin nothing particular just sit in a transport.some tell me when you perform tricks with heli or transport u can earn a driver ablity point but i im septic....

what exactly is it ?

is there a way to gain more ?

WIKI : Driver special ability = 1 point. Note: You receive these points while driving or piloting and someone that is in the vehicle with you receives team points.

Its when a passenger in your vehicle gets a repair/ammo/healing point, you get a +1 too for being the driver

you will get them, lets say you are the pilot and you got a medic in your heli, that medic heals a person : he gets a healing point you then get a Driver Special Ability point

I don't get it if I'm in the second position of a tank and the driver kill/ get repair point?

you can only get it as driver thats why its called Driver Special Ability point

I think you can also get it by being a medic/support and being the driver. If someone hops in your humvee and they need health or ammo I believe it works that way.....but Im not 100% on that.

i´m very sure that i have got driver special abilitypoints when i have been in a apc as a passenger and the driver killed people think i got 10 in a row or so the i started t get assists instead perhaps a bug.

Not to be confused with Driver Kill assist which you will get as a driver when a passanger gets a kill or when you are a passanger and the driver gets a kill (not road kill). If another passanger gets a kill you will get a kill assist if you are not the driver.

Hehe, one time i was low on health and driving a Humvee, a medic hopped in and healed me. He got one point for healing me and i driver special ability assist. So basically i got a point for getting health.

I've been playing for nealry 1000 hours, and i still dont know this but.......is their a difference between a driver ability assist and a driver kill assist (eg chopper pilot)

I am sure I have recieved points (Driver ability) whilst on my own in a vehicle. Awhile ago I was on Karkand playing USMC, jumped in a vehicle and was crossing the river, at the last second I saw a couple of enemy mines on the road, I quickly dodged them (more luck than skill) and received a driver ability point for doing so.

That said, I still don't have my service crew ribbon!!!

I got an ability assist once for letting my Z-10 gunner give me another smoke grenade. They're kinda wierd.
