For example, I rocket snipe. I always thought the SRAW was crap until I realised the aiming reticle was off. Looking at the ERYX vs. SRAW pics, there it is: the SRAW hits below the centre of the crosshair.

Damn! Good research! Although my sights seem to vary a minute amount from yours. Perhaps latency has some play in your bullet drop/trajectory? I can tell you the Abrams fires to the right of it's crosshair by one mark and the t-90 aims one mark below center for me.
Good post. The one about Mr-444 is 100% accurate. I've known it before through practice with the pistol though.
